Have you heard the saying "Today is the first day of the rest of your life'"? well it is a great saying, and the topic for today (of course, not tomorrow). All we have is NOW. What does your now look like? What does it feel like? Do you want to savor it, or run away from it? Either way, it is temporary. When we get to a place of non-attachment, this concept becomes easier. Non-attachment should not be mistaken for not caring. It is simply going with the flow, and trusting in the bigger plan. The one that we have set into motion with our thoughts, desires, and actions. If you don't like where you are now, you can change it. Change your perspective, and gain back your power. Also stay in awareness of what you are creating for your future now, because if you aren't thrilled with your now now, chances are your just creating more of it. Lucid Meditation practice "Paint it White" helps to clear the mind and give you a blank canvas to create with. When unwanted thoughts that have been dealt with keep trying to intrude, paint your canvas white and start fresh. This is not to say ignore your thoughts or feelings. In fact we go very deeply into in the Lucid Meditation program, but it is to say there is a time and place, and sometimes we need to take control and redirect our thinking. Remember to pause, and "Paint It White", to set yourself free!
